ADHD Aha! | Procrastination, rushing, and ADHD (Yasmeen’s story)

Yasmeen (they/them) was a perpetual procrastinator. They would wait until the very last minute to start a paper or write an assignment. Then came a difficult college course and a equally hard professor. Yasmeen and her professor discovered that Yasmeen’s previous methods no longer worked. This led them to the ADHD diagnosis.

Yasmeen shares their experiences growing up with ADHD and their struggles with homework. Yasmeen, a user researcher, shares their experiences with ADHD in Black communities.
