THINK YOU HAVE OCD? Here are the next steps to recovery:
Hello! I’m so glad you found my video and have realized these facts! OCD is very treatable, but only with the right therapy and sometimes medication. The treatment that is scientifically proven to help the most with OCD is called Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Many sufferers have done this and found monumental success, including me. I’ll give you an article on Exposure and Response Prevention, make sure you read the whole thing. /
To hear about ERP and my experience with it, you can check out these videos:

To find an ERP therapist, you can go to iocdf.org/find-help. If you can’t find anyone near you, try searching google for “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Exposure and Response Prevention in [your area]” This article will give you questions to ask a therapist when you find one to make sure they know how to treat OCD: /
Getting diagnosed and starting therapy for OCD can be a hard process, but remember you CAN get better. Taking these steps will bring you closer to recovery and trust me, it is so worth it.
