Katherine has more 30 years experience in researching facts, framing messages and writing vivid prose. From 1984-99, Ellison reported for Knight Ridder Newspapers, winning several awards including a Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting. She has co-authored, ghost-written, and co-authored ten books since then. Ellison also worked as a communications consultant and speechwriter for clients such as Bill Gates, Silicon Valley investors, Cater Communications, and the Ford, Packard and Irvine foundations.
